Good Sunday to everyone! It’s a busy weekend across the region with Fourth of July celebrations.

The weather is fully in the holiday spirit as well. Hot, Muggy conditions across a large portion of the United States.

As we go through the rest of the holiday season and beyond we are looking at a high moisture content, low/no capping environment. All you need is daytime heating and a slight trigger and afternoon storms will activate.

Any storms that fire up during the afternoon will be very efficient rain producers due to Precipitable Water values that could exceed 2 inches at times.
