Good late evening to everyone across Western North Carolina. A surge or tropical moisture arrives through the night tonight and maximizes Tuesday Afternoon. A cold front will then move through Wednesday bringing with it the risk of strong to severe thunderstorms.

Here are our latest forecast graphics. If you live in flood prone areas, have multiple ways to receive Flash Flood Warnings should they be needed later tonight and Tuesday. Water rescues are possible but please limit what rescue crews have to respond too. Do not drive through flooded roadways. The road may be washed out under the quick moving water.
