Good Sunday Morning. We are still expecting some severe weather impacts today. Take note that the timeline has changed from yesterday’s. The timeline has moved up a few hours and we now expect impacts occuring first in the western foothills between 10am and Noon and then moving east from there. The ingredients for severe weather up to and including isolated brief tornadoes are available. The main risk will be damaging straight line winds over 60mph. The line of thunderstorms is currently moving through Eastern Tennessee, about to impact the far southwest mountains. Also please note that there is a flash flood risk today as these storms pass through.
