It’s that time of the year!
Foothills Weather Network plans to send a team out to the Plains in Mid-May for the annual storm chase. This event allows our team to learn more about severe weather, how it forms and the impacts to society. What we learn from this yearly venture goes back to help our forecasting and communication of severe weather in the Carolinas.
We are once again doing a fundraiser in conjunction with Thin Red Line Firearms to where someone can win a firearm up to $600 value. The money raised from the raffle will go to help with costs for this year’s Storm Chase.
Ticket Prices:
Sales will go fast as there are only 1,000 tickets available. Please include email or telephone contact information when completing purchase. Entrants must also be able to complete background check through Thin Red Line Firearms in order to receive prize.
Ticket drawing will be on Monday, May 11. All ticket purchases must be made by 5/11/26, 12 pm.
